✦Soléa van Heyningen is the founder of SVH Atelier, a multidisciplinary creative director, producer, and storyteller shaping narratives at the intersection of fashion, art, and culture.
Born in Saint Martin, raised in Charlotte, and now based between New York and Paris, Soléa studied photography and video production at the School of Visual Arts. Immersed in the rhythm of studios and shoot days from an early age, she developed a trained, instinctive, and emotionally attuned eye—one that translates seamlessly into her cinematic, narrative-driven work.
At 23, she stepped into the role of Director of Photography for a luxury menswear service, leading fast-paced, full-scale productions from concept to final delivery. Today, her work is known for its intimacy, intention, and immersive visual language.
Through SVH Atelier, Soléa is building a distinct creative universe, trusted by brands like Tiffany & Co., LVMH, Bloomingdale’s, and New York Pilates—and curating a growing team devoted to crafting high-touch, emotionally resonant visuals.
Her latest project, Art Diaries, is an evolving series that gives artists a space to translate personal reflections into raw, cinematic storytelling. It reflects her deeper mission: to build a creative ecosystem rooted in authenticity, emotional depth, and community.
Soléa’s intuitive directing style and guerrilla shooting methods allow her to produce work that’s not only visually striking, but deeply human—marking her as a bold voice in the next generation of visual artists and creative producers.✦
